Restored to excellent condition. My pain, your gain? Now that it is
finally up to the standard I wanted, I find we just don’t use it as
expected. This is a great driving, touring, camping and tailgating RV.
A true collectible, arguably it is the best motorhome ever made.
There are about 8000 of these classics still on the road with lots of
dedicated owners, GMC clubs, as well as upkeep and improvement
support available, including a shop (Applied GMC) specializing in
them in Fremont.
The Saturn is equipped for towing with this Coach. It has 70K miles
on it and is in excellent shape. I chose it because I think it makes
an ideal tow car and a practical second car. It is light weight,
gets good gas mileage, and tows with all wheels down with no
modifications. A tow car is handy to have if you are staying in one
place for a few days and would like to make local trips out from
there. It is also nice breakdown insurance. It is easy to hitch and
unhitch and tows with no noticeable effect.
I will sell them separately, of course, but want to sell the GMC
first if I do. This because I think the combo is a particularly good
deal for someone who would want a tow car for their RV. I wouldn’t
want to sell the Saturn first, and then have someone who wants the
combination call the next day.
