Exhaust Heat Shields for Fuel Tanks
Here is a kit of items to shield the heat from the exhaust pipe to the fuel tank.The factory installed these shields to help minimize problems of overheating the fuel and vaptor lock.
The 20 gauge steel heat shiels are power coated white to minimize the heater transfer to the tank through absorption and re-radiation.these shields are like the original heat shieldswhich had 3/8" bend on bothsides, but I extended the upper bend, which installs over the exhaust pipe to 2" to provide additional heat isolation to the fuel tank.

Exhaust Mainfold Bolt Locks (12-11)

The original exhaust manifold bolts lock system for some reason completely ignores the center bolt. We have developed a bolt lock system that applies to the manifold bolts in exactly the same manner at the originals but has the added feature of providing a locking function to the center bolt.We believe that the use of our 5-bolt lock will provide a significant improvement to the longevity of the exhaust manifold gasket.
The lock plates are CNC machined from 18 gauge galvanized sheet steel, sold as a pair to do both exhaust manifolds, and are shipped with a tips sheet providing installation suggestions.

Headers greatly reduce engine temperature by more efficiently drawing the exhaust gasses out. Lowering the temperature of the cylinder and the combustion chamber creates a denser fuel charge and therfor allows your engine to create more power.
